Dual-Circularly Polarized Topological Patch Antenna With Pattern Diversity

Recently, the topological properties of composite vortices, i.e., superposition between vortex modes a different order, have proven effective in manipulating radiation patch antennas and making them suitable for new operative scenarios. In this paper, we exploit these to design multi-antenna system exhibiting both pattern- polarization-diversity. The low mutual coupling possibility steer two orthogonal polarized fields directions, make radiating element an optimal candidate antenna diversity or MIMO systems and, thus, increasing signal quality channel capacity communication system.
